Important 2021 Due Dates

January 15th
  • Make the fourth payment for 2020 individual estimated tax.
February 1st
  • Forms W-2’s are due to employees.
  • Forms 1099 are due to individuals from payers of interest, dividends and other specified types of income.
  • Forms 1099 are due to tax agencies and to vendors from business entities.
March 15th
  • S-Corporation, Partnership and multi-member LLC tax returns due to the IRS for December 31st year end businesses.
  • Business entities listed above must submit for an extension of time to file tax returns with an extended due date of September 15th, if needed.
  • Personal Property Tax Return due to the county.
April 15th
  • C-Corporation tax returns due to the IRS for December 31st year end businesses.
  • City of Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon Corporate Activity (CAT) and Trimet tax returns are due for business entities.
  • Fiduciary income tax returns are due for estates and trusts.
  • C-Corporations must submit for an extension of time to file tax returns to the extended due date of October 15th, if needed.
  • Estate and trusts must submit for an extension of time to file tax returns to the extended due date of September 30th, if needed.
  • Make the first payment for 2021 individual estimated tax.
May 17th
  • Individual income tax returns are due.
  • City of Portland, Multnomah County, and Tri-met tax returns are due for self-employed individuals.
June 15th
  • Make the second payment for 2021 individual estimated tax.
September 15th
  • Final due date for S-Corporation, Partnership and multi-member LLC entities that filed for an extension.
  • Make the third payment for 2021 individual estimated tax.
September 30th
  • Final due date for estates and trusts that filed for an extension.
October 15th
  • Final due date for individuals and for December 31st year-end C-Corporations that filed for an extension.
